CSS is Fun and Useful
They say that livejournal bloggers write mostly about what they had for lunch.
It's becoming clear that this blogger writes mostly about his blog.
Continuing that theme comes this latest update.
Astute users might notice that the site looks exactly the same as it did yesterday.
This is, however, quite a feat. I've twiddled the theme being used for the site; all the stuff over there *points* in the left navbar is now *below* this content inside the page - it's the CSS that's being applied that pulls it back up and puts it in the right spot in modern browsers.
Why bother? I use w3m and links and lynx a lot to access this site, and having to scroll down 1.5 screens every time I went to a new page was driving me mad. Now I'm able to see content immediately, without needing to scroll :)
